Please pick the right format before entering your points. GPS coordinates can have different formats. The first three points are required to draw a field. You can keep adding points by clicking the 'Add a new coordinate' link at the bottom.

Select the .shp file and push 'import' to load the shapefile. The shapefile should be in geographic projection (latitude, longitude).
